Canadian screen actor, best known for her role in Lost Girl as Bo Dennis. CBSs Blood & Treasure was her first role in 2019. Other credits include Earthstorm in 2006 as well as The Perfect Neighbor, which she was a part of in 2005. Silk has a father, Peter Silk, an academic of Fredericton New Brunswick Canada and Ilkay Silk the actress producer director playwright educator. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Annas earliest memories revolve around attending play rehearsals, as well as watching her mother do the perform. Silk played a role as a youngster in many commercials. She received a Bachelor's of Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. In her early theater career, she was involved in 2 Theatre St. Thomas productions: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. They have sons named Samuel and Levi. In 2009, she was cast in the main role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Her performance as Bo along with Lauren as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the show's Favorite Television Couples by CNN and named the the top TV Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's online popularity grew due to the series.
