Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd kept building on her triumph in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She defeated all her competitors in the initial round. Ladd returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's amateur career. Ladd rebounded from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a professional. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via first-round TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: Aspen won her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to defeat McGill. Aspen ended her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at the catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd had missed weight. However, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She finished her with a TKO after the second round. As for her final fight for Promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina through the ground and pound strategy which resulted in the TKO 2nd round win. She remained dominant and picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd finished Evinger during the first round and got a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first major match. Ladd was victorious in the unanimous decision after some great exchanges with the fighters got an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to end Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In her recent fight for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. She lost the fight via majority decision.
